Diesel fire pump installation instructions
I. The installation of diesel engine fire pump unit is based on the following principles to determine the installation programme.
1. The fire pump room of the diesel engine fire pump unit should be as close to the pool as possible, and the water intake pipe of the water intake part should be as short as possible, with as few elbows as possible, in order to reduce the resistance of water intake. And should ensure that the unit is spacious enough. Convenient unit operation, repair and maintenance. Diesel fire pump pump room is well equipped with lifting equipment, and should take thermal insulation measures to ensure that the low temperature of the pump room ≥ 5 ℃;.
2. diesel fire pump unit foundation should be strong and firm, good reinforced concrete, the size should be based on the pumping unit chassis to the periphery extending 100 ~ 200mm, and set up sewage drains, cable trench;.
3. The unit should be placed on the foundation and adjusted by wedges or blocks. Check the level with a level meter. After tightening the foundation bolts, check the level again, then fill and grout. There should be no gaps or air pockets in the grouting;.
4. The inlet and outlet pipes of the diesel fire pump unit should be supported separately and installed firmly. The fire pump shall not be used as a pipe support. Measures should be taken to prevent excessive load on the import and export of the fire pump, and there should be no air pockets in the inlet pipe.
5. The muffler should be installed outdoors. The diameter of the exhaust pipe shall not be smaller than the size required by the unit. However, the exhaust pipe should be as short as possible, and the elbow in the pipe should be as small as possible to prevent the diesel engine from generating a large exhaust resistance and affecting the power output of the diesel engine. The exhaust pipe shall be supported separately and not by the engine. In order to prevent the high temperature of the exhaust pipe from hurting people, insulation protection measures should be taken at a height that can be reached by people.
Note: The coupling of the diesel engine fire pump pump set has been adjusted before leaving the factory, but it may be changed in the process of transport and installation, therefore, after the installation of the set, in order to carry out another neutral adjustment of the coupling, it is necessary to have a large radial displacement of ≤ 0.1mm, angular displacement of ≤ 0.15mm and axial displacement of ≤ 0.3mm.
The use of diesel engine fire pump set
1、Preparation and inspection before starting
a)Check the water storage of engine heat exchanger, replenish the cooling water in time, and check all the parts of the cooling system, there should be no water leakage;.
b)Check whether the oil quantity in the engine oil sump is suitable, and should be supplemented in time when it is insufficient. Check that there is no oil leakage in all parts.
c) After checking the normal department, use the hand oil pump to discharge the air in the fuel system. At this time, first open the diesel engine filter and fuel injection pump on the exhaust screws, the starting fuel pump lifted until the discharge screws no air bubbles;;.
d) The pump outlet valve should be closed, the air inlet valve should be open and the foam line should be closed. If equipped with a water-inducing mechanism, the water-inducing handle should be placed in a vacant position, and the amount of water in the water ring vacuum pump storage tank (or the amount of oil in the slide vacuum pump storage tank HJ-40) should be sufficient.
Second, the diesel engine fire pump unit start and run
1. Turn on the start button, press the start button, and release the button in time after starting the engine. If the engine still can not start after 5S, release the button immediately, stop the button for about 2 minutes and start the second time. If it starts more than three times in a row, disconnect the circuit and check the cause. In general, first check the fuel supply system, and if necessary, discharge the fuel pipe (in winter cold, must be started after the diesel engine is fully warmed up); ;)
2. After successful starting, turn the key to the middle position and keep the engine running at low speed for 2-4 minutes to allow the engine to warm up;.
3. After preheating at low speed, the engine speed can be gradually increased. When the engine cooling water temperature exceeds 60℃, other instruments show normal, the pump can be driven to run.
4. If the pump is equipped with a water-induction mechanism, press the vacuum pump water-induction button (or put the water-induction handle in the ‘water-induction’ position) to draw water. In the water diversion work, should pay attention to the fire pump unit of the vacuum gauge and pressure gauge display. When the vacuum gauge shows that a certain value does not rise, the pressure gauge shows that the water has been pumped (usually 0.2-0.4mpa). Immediately open the fire pump outlet valve; and cut off the diversion pipe valve, press the vacuum pump stop button (or quickly push the diversion handle to the ‘idle’ position), the end of the diversion work. Increase the engine throttle to increase the speed, when the pump pressure reaches 0.3-0.5mpa, you can gradually open the outlet valve, the pressure water to the output pipe system, and provide normal water supply. When the unit is running, the tachometer pointer should indicate the rated speed and should not be overspeed.
5 During operation, attention should be paid to the colour of the exhaust smoke: colourless or brown is normal, incomplete combustion is black and the oil on the machine is blue. Abnormal combustion should be stopped for adjustment or repair.
Note: In the event of fire or other emergencies, the pump set should be started quickly into the rated working condition.
